A person born in Australia to Australian citizens is a Native Australian.
There are, however, people born in this country who do not want to be Australians – who do not love this country or wish to contribute to and defend it.
There are also people who were not born in Australia who love this country, would contribute to and defend this country, and who want to be considered Australian.
